Who we are

Matt Connelly is a nationally recognized media consultant with a passion for helping people and organizations tell their stories—and get them heard. Over the past two decades, he’s advised some of the country’s most well-known public figures, high-growth startups, non-profits, a multibillion-dollar global corporation, and even one Terminator.

Matt got his start in the fast-paced world of media, running the executive newsroom for Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger in California. From there, he served in senior communications roles for four presidential campaigns, helped win one of the closest U.S. Senate races in the country, and has advised dozens of gubernatorial campaigns, U.S. Senate campaigns, and congressional campaigns.

Since 2016, he has brought his high-level media experience to the private sector—working with Fortune 500 companies, global brands, mission-driven non-profits, and local businesses alike. From managing media coverage and building video content programs for global corporations to helping startups navigate high-stakes PR moments, he’s known for delivering clear messaging, standout content, and real results.

Matt brings an entrepreneurial mindset to every project—because he’s built businesses from the ground up himself. Having founded and grown multiple ventures, he understands the real-world challenges businesses face: limited resources, tight timelines, and the constant need to do more with less. That firsthand experience fuels his passion for helping others succeed. Whether it’s crafting compelling videos, securing earned media, or building brand awareness from scratch, Matt delivers big-agency results with a small-business sensibility.
